Can you help me find a rehearsal dinner dress?

I'm looking for nothing too awfully fancy but something that can be worn out for a night on the town. Something that I can purchase tonight as I'm looking for a dinner dress tonight for tomorrow. I'm a plus sized girl as well...I don't do well with dresses but I'm hoping that I could find that "one" I live in columbus Ohio if that helps as well. ps. my rehearsal is not tomorrow night, but I wanted to get a rehearsal dinner dress, and wear it out on the town.

  1. Oh, Mrs. H., I don't know what you can do, waiting until the last minute, but I certainly understand. Us girls get so busy with all the little details that we forget to shop for our dresses. You have such a pretty face, and do your make so very well. Why not just not worry too much about it, throw on a nice top with a pair of slacks and a blazer. That might look quite sporty. You can accessorize with some jewelry, necklace and earrings, and look quite nice. And, of course, do your make-up and a little perfume will make you look quite stunning. Just my little opinion from someone who knows how you feel. Why, I have a closet full of clothes, and never anything to wear. We girls are like that, aren't we?
  2. As much as I hate to say it, if you're looking to go out tonight with it, then you're pretty much outta luck. I would look at onestopplus.com for a dress if you have a few weeks for it to come in. Today, though you will probably need to go to fashionbug.com or Catherines.com or Avenue.com and see if you can find something in a walk-in store there. Good luck!

  4. Do you have Coldwater Creek at your mall? They have some good stuff sometimes. Everything from casual to fairly fancy. My mom is getting her MOG dress for my brother's wedding there.

  6. I just found adorable dresses at Dress Barn. One for a bridal shower and one for a rehearsal dinner and I'm very happy with both of them. They have a misses section (sizes 4-16) and a plus section including sizes 14-24. For a while, the name kept me away. WTF? barn? good call, marketing. But it turns out their stuff is really cute, and I used the store locator on their website, and there's one in Columbus. Good Luck!

  16. I got mine at Dillard's. Cute black dress with some white polka dots and it can be worn casually with some sandals or dressier with some heels and accessories. I can't find it online but I would check in the store.   17. Drees barn is the place to go if they have one by you they have plenty of plus size dresses and there really cute. I never liked looking for a dress but now I dont mind wearing them since dress barn has plenty to pick from in my size.
