Dress Types

Can the way you dress attract different types of guys?

I don't mean how much skin is showing, I mean the actual STYLE. I noticed that I dress more elegant/artsy, and I attract really weird guys, as well as some really nice, sensitive guys. The jock types aren't interested in me, even though I'm athletic.

1. Yes I believe so. If you wear trackies and sports hoodies and hang out at McDonalds your bound to attract Chavs. However I wear more vintage clothes. But casual. I get the indy/normal type guys. Sorry if you don't understand my terms. I'm guessing your American so I doubt you would. x

The answer is YES. if you dress goth you will attract goths etc. If you are a hot goth even jocks might think you are hot but will be less likely to approach you because they will assume you wouldnt be interested in them and that they are not your type etc. People make a lot judgements about what you are like as a person just by looking at you and the way you dress has a lot of influence on those judgements. As a guy, if i wanted to attract a punk chick, it would probably be best for me to dress in some punk/rocker style. However you should be congruent with whatever style you dress meaning whatever style you choose should somehow reflect who you are. I am not a punk rocker so i would not dress that way or feel comfortable doing so. I hope some of that helps^^
